We are on the last stretch of another one of Dad's 48 hour shifts, and we aren't a big fan of them. :( Even as much as Jack was missing Dad today, he was still able to muster up a couple smiles and laughs for Mom. :)

Sweet Potatoes :)

So Jack was not very amused with the rice cereal deal, we think because it didn't taste like much. So...we tried some sweet potatoes and that was a big hit!! :) Tonight was the third night he has had them and he ate an entire jar this time! Just a couple more nights of sweet potatoes and then we are going to try peas. He is really liking sitting in his high chair and eating like we do!

So Saturday night was a big night for Dad...he got his pins and his badge for completing his year of probation with the fire department!! Grandma and Grandpa Hector came up to go to the banquet and Grandma and Papa Methvin came up to stay with Jack so Mom could go celebrate with Dad. Thought we would share a couple cute pictures from the weekend. Congratulations, Dad!!
Also, soon to come are pictures of Jack's first hair cut!! It was getting pretty long in the front and one one side :) so Grandma Methvin gave it a little trim while she was here. Once the camera is back in order we will put them up!

Jack had his 4 month appointment today and he weighs 19 pounds 1 ounce (97th percentile!) and is 25.5 inches long (75th percentile). :) He had his 2nd round of shots and took it like a champ...such a tough little boy. He's happy and healthy...can't ask for more! :)

4 Months Old!

Time is just flying by and Jack is already 4 months old! He tried his first rice cereal the other day and liked it, but didn't think it was anything special. :) He enjoyed playing with the spoon more than the food itself! He is trying really hard to roll over, but can't quite figure out how to do it so he just uses his feet to push himself around on his back instead. :) He is getting bigger, more adorable, and much more interactive each day...can't imagine life without him. :)
Happy 4 month birthday, little man!! :)

So Jack has lost almost all of his hair on one side of his head and has about half left on the other side...however, none of the top has fallen out. :) He has his own little mohawk! We decided to play with it a little tonight. Jack wasn't too interested in the camera though, so hopefully you can see it...even if you can't, the chubs are cute on their own. :)
